Maxie Rosenbloom, Barney Ross, and Al Singer
Be interested in this when you write more about it, Brian. Art Swiden was written up in more then one press account of a fight as a "Jewish Boxer" but in fact, he was not Jewish. I have the newspaper clip to prove this! But being seen as a Jewish boxer back in the 40's and 50's was shown to have that extra something so Art used it to his advantage!lOL Keep up the great work, Brian. :-) Shawn
